Villa Cora is located in a park which overlooks the Boboli gardens, on the hills just outside Florence. It takes just over 15 minutes to walk to the Boboli Gardens and around 25 minutes to the Palazzo Pitti. The hotel offers a shuttle service in and out of the main city of Florence for guests.

Villa Cora is an aristocratic residence which was built at the end of the 19th century upon commission by Baron Oppenheim. The architectural style still reflects that period, with a strong, eclectic palatial décor, with lots of artistic flair. Over the years Villa Cora earned its reputation as one of the cultural and cosmopolitan symbols of Florence and has hosted guests such as the Princess Eugenia, wife of Napoleon III and Russian composer Tchaikovsky. Il Pasha Restaurant is located in the winter months inside the Moorish hall, which is one of the most fascinating rooms in Villa Cora, oriental in style with a domed ceiling decorated with original frescoes. A selection of authentic Italian cuisine is served here. Le Bistrot is open from April to October which allows guests to enjoy the beauty of the park, food events such as Pizza and Champagne and Sunday Barbecue happen here. Le Pool Bar offers a relaxing place to sip a beverage after a cooling dip in the tranquil swimming pool.

The Bellevue roof terrace is the perfect place during summer months to sit back on one of the leather sofas and sip cocktails and champagne as you overlook the Tuscan Countryside and the illuminated buildings of Florence.
