The Jazz Hotel despite aiming to be both clubby and chic is in fact a very family-friendly hotel with complimentary infant cots if required.
It is positioned near Placa de Catalunya, the Contemporary Art Museum and the downtown campus of the University of Barcelona. The hotel invokes vibes of the "rat pack era" with its name and its retro design.
In a further nod to the era, there is piped-in music to the rooms, which can be easily turned off, if this is not your thing.
