Know Before You Go

Nice location, close enough to eat and then walk to the Font Magica for the show.
The Iberico Ham is a favorite, so is the cod along with the ever dependable patatas braves.
The decor is a mixture of traditional marble style
The younger brother of the renowned Rias de Galicia, one of the greatest Galician restaurants in Barcelona and possibly in Spain, El Canota has a lot to live up to. Serving a Galician-inspired seafood tapas, there are many traditional dishes to choose from including fried fish and seafood, patatas bravas, Galician octopus, and ensaladilla rusa. As for drinks, draught beer and wine is offered to complement the cuisine. Of course the interior is completely laid back, and has a chain restaurant type of feel with a large interior, bright lighting, and tee shirts covered in cartoon seafood characters available for sale. With two floors of seating, and outside seating as well, you would think there would be plenty of options, however, the place gets packed right before 9pm. Worth a try if you’re looking for a taste of Spain’s Galician region.
