Entry is free to EU citizens on production of passport, and at a low fee for everyone else.

The Art

On the ground floor, there are pieces, such as the sculptures of Pedro Millán, “The last supper” by Alonso Vázquez and a sculpture that represents the head of San Juan Bautista (that dates from 1591) by Gaspar Núñez Delgado.

In the convent church, Murillo’s artwork is represented by the emblem of the baroque art, the Inmaculada Concepción Grande. The first floor exhibits works like Santiago Apóstol by José de Ribera and Christ Crucified by Zurbarán.

The building itself is remarkable

The entry hall is full of traditional ceramic tiles which Seville is so famous for. The chapel has intricate art on the ceiling, and the courtyards of the building are very relaxing. You can walk around quite freely, it is not crowded. Take your time, maybe hire a local guide.
